Coach Kenneth Smith has over 20 years of basketball experience. He has played in University Division 1 Level and on the professional level. His professional experience encompasses AND1 Exhibition Team, ABA Atlanta Vision, NBDL Columbus River Dragon and Carolina Thunder all in the USA.

After his retirement, Coach Kenneth began personal basketball training with his business K2K Sports, which included  NBA Player Caron Butler. Soon after relocating to the UAE, Kenneth Smith began working with Al Nasr Sports Club in Dubai as a Developmental Coach. He teamed up with training for former NBA player Donte Green and aided with the advancement of the Men Professional Team and Youth Under 18 to 2nd and 1st place standings in 2015 & 2016.

Looking to make a lasting change, Kenneth was presented with the opportunity to bring his expertise to yet another organization, HBA. Since becoming a part of the program, Mr. Smith revamped the modules with practical basketball strategies while establishing new relationships with the local basketball communities. Hoops Basketball Academy is now a raising competitor in youth sector of basketball in Dubai.
